The Nye County School District (NCSD) Department of Food Service formally announces an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the procurement of school lunch products.
Scope:
This solicitation is organized into four distinct categories. Vendors may bid on any or all of the following:
Lot 1: Paper Products
Lot 2: Frozen Foods
Lot 3: Canned and Dry Goods
Lot 4: Fresh Produce
Sealed Bid Process:
In accordance with district policy and state procurement regulations, this is a strictly enforced sealed bid process.
Interested vendors must visit the official Nye County School District website at www.nye.k12.nv.us/page/rpf (https://snap.nyeschools.org/2026food-itb) to download the mandatory Excel bid sheets. Please review each document closely.
To be considered, vendors must submit printed physical hard copies of all pricing sheets and required legal documentation. Submissions must be delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked "SCHOOL LUNCH BID."
Critical Deadlines and Timeline
Following the public bid opening on March 31, the district leadership team will review submissions for compliance and value. Final award recommendations are subject to the formal approval of the NCSD Board of Trustees.
