RCMS and Manse went into lockdown for about five minutes due to the sound of possible gunshots off campus. The NCSSO investigated and found the noise to be fireworks.

Congratulations to participating JG Johnson's 4th and 5th grade contestants of this year’s 2025 Student Model Bridge Building Competition held at the UNLV College of Engineering. Competition was fierce. JG Johnson's first-place winning team consisted of two fifth graders. Yaritza Quinonez Polanco, and Jazlyn Noyola held the highest score amongst the JG Johnson Elementary student teams that competed. Congratulations to Yariza and Jazlyn! NCSD intends to apply for the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century grant that supports afterschool and summer school programming at Rosemary Clarke Middle School. Once approved, all grant documents are available for public review, and additional information will be posted here.

Elementary Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for this Monday, March 24th. Students in grades PreK-5th grades are not in school on Monday, but this is a normal school day for secondary students, grades 6th-12th. Please direct questions to the appropriate school.

The Pahrump Valley High School Trojan Theatre Players are proud to present their upcoming production of Steel Magnolias. This beloved play tells the story of six women who gather in Truvy's beauty salon in a small Louisiana town. As they share their joys and sorrows, they form a bond that is as strong as steel. The play will be performed on February 13, 14, 15 and 20, 21, 22 at 6 PM in the Pahrump Valley High School Auditorium. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens. A dinner theatre addition will be available on Friday, February 20th, at 5 PM. Tickets for the regular showings can be purchased at the door with cash.
